Welcome to the Privacy Policy for Westwise Group. This website (the "Site") is owned and operated by Westwise Group, LLC ("Westwise Group," "we," "our," or "us"). We provide advertising management, marketing, and data collection intake services for independent third party law firms advertising their legal services or products (each an "Advertising Firm" and collectively "Advertising Firms").
At Westwise Group, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how Westwise Group collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit www.westwisegroup.com or interact with any of our other websites, call center services, and related digital properties (collectively, the "Services"). This policy applies to all brands and websites operated by Westwise Group. By visiting the Site or using the Services, you agree to our Terms of Service and to our use, collection, and disclosure practices, and other activities described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue your use of our Services.
We collect information from or about you in several ways, including information you provide to us directly, information we automatically collect when you use our Services, and information we receive from third parties.
When you use our Services, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
We may, as part of our data collection intake services for an Advertising Firm, collect and process information on behalf of such Advertising Firm concerning your health or medical history that you voluntarily provide to us, including medical information, information concerning injuries, accidents, diagnoses, treatments, medications, medical providers, or other information relating to your physical or mental health ("Consumer Health Data").
We collect and process this Consumer Health Data solely on behalf of the Advertising Firm for the advertisement to which you responded in connection with their evaluation of your matter and your engagement of their services. As part of your engagement of the Advertising Firm, they will advise you, where applicable, of their policies, and will obtain your consent, to collect and share your Consumer Health Data. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your affirmative consent before collecting or sharing Consumer Health Data. Consent to the collection of Consumer Health Data is separate from consent to sharing Consumer Health Data where required by applicable law. You may withdraw consent to future collection or sharing of Consumer Health Data, subject to applicable legal, professional, contractual, or other obligations and exceptions.
You may request confirmation of whether we collect Consumer Health Data about you, request access to such data, request deletion where applicable, and withdraw consent to future collection or sharing where applicable law provides those rights. To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@westwisegroup.com. To view our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, click here.
When you use our Services, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, including:
We participate in interest-based advertising and use third-party tracking technologies to provide you with targeted advertisements and measurement services. We use analytics services to help us understand how users access and use the Services. We work with agencies, advertisers, ad networks, and other technology services to place ads about our products and services on other websites and services. For example, we place ads through Google and Meta and via other social media platforms that you may view on their platforms as well as on other websites and services. As part of this process, we may incorporate tracking technologies into our own Service (including our website and emails) as well as into our ads displayed on other websites and services. Some of these tracking technologies may track your activities across time and services for purposes of associating the different devices you use, and delivering relevant ads and/or other content to you ("Interest-based Advertising").
We may receive information about you from third parties, including:
We use the information we collect for various business and commercial purposes, including:
When you provide your mobile phone number to us, you consent to receive service-related communications from us via SMS or other messaging technologies, including messages necessary to provide, support, or administer the Services.
Advertising Firm or Legal Service Provider. If, when using our Services, you choose to engage or otherwise use an Advertising Firm or legal service provider who may assist you with your legal needs and share information with it, such Advertising Firm or legal service provider may use and share your data in accordance with their privacy policy and terms of use. We are not responsible for and make no warranties, express or implied, as to the Advertising Firm's or legal service provider's services or products or their conduct related to your information. Your information may be shared solely to the extent necessary to facilitate your request to receive offers for legal services and related products. Such disclosure will not exceed the scope of purposes disclosed to you at the point of opt-in, and your opt-in data will not be shared with any third-party law firm or legal service provider for purposes beyond those associated with your specific request to receive offers for legal services and related products.
No Sale or Sharing for Third-Party Marketing. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your SMS opt-in status, consent records, or any related messaging originator opt-in data to any third party for marketing, promotional, or other purposes unrelated to providing you with the Services. For the avoidance of doubt, SMS opt-in and consent data is excluded from any data-sharing arrangements described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties for their independent marketing use.
Authorized Service Providers. We may share your personal information, including your SMS opt-in status and consent records, with service providers engaged by us solely to facilitate the delivery of text messages on our behalf. Such service providers include, without limitation, messaging platform operators, telephone carriers, and other vendors whose services are necessary to support message delivery. These service providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than performing services on our behalf in connection with our Services.
Telemarketing and Do-Not-Call Rules. By submitting your personal information to us, including through the Site or the Services, you acknowledge that such submission constitutes an inquiry and/or application for purposes of the Telemarketing Sales Rule, 16 C.F.R. Part 310, as amended from time to time (the "TSR"), and applicable state do-not-call regulations. Accordingly, and notwithstanding that your telephone number may be registered on the Federal Trade Commission's Do-Not-Call Registry or on any applicable state do-not-call list, we retain the right to contact you for the period permitted by law under the TSR and applicable state regulations.
TCPA Prior Express Written Consent; Automated and Prerecorded Communications. Where you have provided your "prior express written consent" within the meaning of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227, and its implementing regulations promulgated by the Federal Communications Commission, 47 C.F.R. § 64.1200, as amended from time to time (collectively, the "TCPA"), you consent to receive telephone calls and text messages from the applicable Advertising Firm responsible for the advertisement to which you responded, their respective designated service providers, and from us acting as the Advertising Firm's authorized services provider. Such communications may be made using an automatic telephone dialing system or equipment with the capacity to dial stored or randomly generated numbers; may include artificial or prerecorded voice messages; and may include SMS or MMS text messages delivered via automated technology, in each case to the telephone number(s) you have provided to us. You are not required to provide this consent as a condition of obtaining access to the Site, viewing or using the Services, or purchasing any goods or services. You may revoke your consent at any time by following the opt-out instructions provided in each message (e.g., by replying STOP to any SMS message) or by contacting us using the methods described in the "Contact Us" section of this Privacy Policy. Revocation of consent will be processed promptly, but standard message delivery timing may result in the receipt of one additional message following your opt-out request.
Phone Number Change Notification. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you agree to notify us (or the applicable Advertising Firm) promptly if the telephone number you have provided to us changes for any reason. Without limiting the foregoing, if you: (i) have your telephone number reassigned to another person or entity; (ii) relinquish your telephone number so that it is no longer assigned to you; (iii) port your telephone number to another carrier or service provider; or (iv) otherwise cease using that telephone number for any reason (each, a "Phone Number Change"), you agree to notify us of the Phone Number Change promptly by email at privacy@westwisegroup.com or through the contact methods set forth in the "Contact Us" section of this Privacy Policy. This notification obligation exists because continued transmission of automated or prerecorded communications to a reassigned number may give rise to liability under the TCPA, and your prompt notification allows us to update our records accordingly.
With respect to any personal data Westwise Group processes on behalf of its Advertising Firm clients in connection with the advertising management, marketing, and data collection intake services provided through the Site and the Services, Westwise Group acts as a processor, and the applicable Advertising Firm acts as the controller. Westwise Group processes such personal data only for the purpose of providing the contracted services and in accordance with the applicable Advertising Firm's instructions, except where otherwise required by applicable law. With respect to personal data that Westwise Group collects and processes for its own purposes in connection with the operation, security, and improvement of the Site and the Services, including, but not limited to, the Business and Commercial Services described above, its properties, acts as the data controller.
We implement reasonable security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no data transmission or storage system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of information about you. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@westwisegroup.com. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
The Services are intended for general audiences and are not directed towards children under the age of 13. Westwise Group respects the privacy of children of all ages and, in particular, recognizes the sensitivity of personal information (as defined by the U.S. Children's Privacy Protection Act, or "COPPA") concerning children under the age of 13, and therefore provides this special notice to parents and legal guardians regarding the collection of information from such children. If you are over the age of 13 but under the age of 18, you should only use our Services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian and should not submit any data to Westwise Group. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe we have collected personal information in violation of COPPA, contact us at privacy@westwisegroup.com and we will remove such personal information from the Service.
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. We may also advise you of any material changes via email. If our company is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners.
The following sections contain additional information and disclosures applicable to residents of U.S. states that have enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws where we currently operate ("Applicable State Privacy Laws"): California, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Delaware, Iowa, New Jersey, Nebraska, Tennessee, Minnesota, and Montana. Please note that terms such as "sale" and "share" of personal information are defined differently across these laws, so a practice described as a sale or share under one state's law, such as our use of server-side conversion tracking, may not meet the definition of a sale under another state's narrower standard. If you have questions about other states or jurisdictions, please contact us using the information in the "Contact Us" section below.
If you are a California resident, under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") you have additional rights related to your Data. Customers who are residents of California may request (i) a list of the categories of personal information disclosed by us to Advertising Firms during the immediately preceding calendar year for those Advertising Firms' own direct marketing purposes; and (ii) a list of the categories of Advertising Firms to whom we disclosed such information. To exercise a request, please write us at the email or postal address set out in "Contact Us" above and specify that you are making a "California Shine the Light Request" or call us at our toll free number 213-998-2983. We may require additional information from you to allow us to verify your identity, and are only required to respond to requests once during any calendar year.

This transmission constitutes "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA. You have the right to opt-out as described in this "Additional Disclosures for California Residents" section.

To make a request, email us at the email address set out in "Contact Us" section with "California Under 18 Content Removal Request" in the subject line, and tell us what you want removed. Westwise Group honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a universal opt-out mechanism. If your browser or extension transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we apply it automatically to that browser with no further action required from you. Because GPC is browser-based, the signal applies to the specific browser and device you are using. You may also opt out, or exercise any other privacy rights, by contacting us at privacy@westwisegroup.com or by mail at: Westwise Group, LLC, 1100 Glendon Avenue, 17th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90024, Attention: Privacy.
